This original lino cut captures floating nasturtiums in a plate, looking down from above. The beauty of the flower fuses with the plate itself to create a living decorative item. Often flowers in a vase or bowl are drawn or painted from the side, this aerial perspective pays homage to the natural geometry of flowers. It is one of a series of three “Flower Plate” lino cuts which include “Hibiscus Plate and “Daisy Plate”

The lino cut comes mounted in a circle and is signed and numbered (no 3/20) ready for framing. It is hand printed in blend of dark blue and red. The image area is 410 mm x 420mm.
