This original linocut print is all about the joy of foraging - bringing home huge bunches of wild fennel, found roadside, and creating an amazing floral arrangement with them.

It is also more importantly paying homage to my friend Annabelle Hickson who lives on a pecan farm in the Dumaresque Valley in regional NSW. I have been with her driving in the country when she has squealed, pulled over, and filled the ute with wild flowers.

Her book “A Tree in the House“ celebrates these wild arrangements and the joy of creating spaces with them. This linocut design was featured in the bookmark which were inserted into the first edition of her book.

The lino cut comes mounted and is signed and numbered (no 12/20) ready for framing. It is hand printed in a blend of 5 inks from yellow to blue, grey black and green. The image area is 273mm x 123mm.
