Instructions on the pattern

Pattern A

Cut 1 PAIR of this template- (2 pieces)

Step 1: Stitch right sides together leaving a 2cm opening at the centre of each end as marked.

Step 2: Using one of the open ends, pull one end of the scarf completely through so it is right side facing and then iron flat.

Step 3: Sew two stitch lines parallel, 2cm apart down the centre of the scarf length-ways, right to the ends. This creates a channel for the cord to sit in.

Step 4: Feed the cord through these two stitch lines between the two fabric pieces.

In The Garden - Picking sage

DRYING HERBS: Dried sage is great mixed with butter and drizzled on pasta or mixed into a stuffing for a roast. Depending on the weather, the drying period for SAGE is about one week, so you really want to hang it in an area that's cool and dry.
