For the Love of Wecks Glass Jars

Love at first sight … Berlin

Berlin and one of the giant murals in the “Wrinkles of the City” installation by jr.net (this anonymous artist is worth following)

I was in Berlin last year and stayed at the very cool Casa Campers Hotel. A small boutique hotel in the heart of Berlin created by Campers shoe company founders. On the top floor is the private bar with views of the roof tops of Berlin. The free self serve cafe has 24 hour delicious sweet and savory meals and nibbles and smoothies in glass display cabinets.

Cylinder Jar WECK 500ml with left-over gazpacho (love these for smoothies too).

I was so excited when I found the Australian distributor; Ozfamer.com, with a full range of glass beauties. Although WECKS jars were originally for pickling and preserving you can’t do better than glass for storing food in general; they’re better for the environment and your food and they’re great gifts too. But I’m warning you, they’re a bit addictive.

Left over Ayurvedic Turmeric Chicken Pilaf and Tomatoe Gazpacho kept fresh in my WECKS glass jars.
